There are no funerals for early losses. No rituals to remember those babies that were never born. So as a healing exercise of sorts, I remember the story of our first pregnancy – a baby we will never know whom we named Willow.

On Sunday, April 9, 2017, our twin boys, Ezra Lee and Leo Allen, died. They were born stillborn, just a day shy of 21 weeks. Any stillbirth is tragic.
